Once the 62' Ragtop was revealed at the Piney Woods Fall Fest in Oct. 2005, it was only natural to take it to other show
to compete in.
- The first show the 62' attended was the Big Bug Shoot Out in Ennis, TX on Oct. 30th. The green car brought
home the 2nd place Mod. Stock 58-67 award.
- The second show to attend was the Cowtown Stampede & Roundup in Fort Worth, TX. The 62' Ragtop recieved an award
in the Mod Stock 58-67 class.
- On March 25th, 2006 the bug was taken to the Blooming Good VW SHow in Nacogdoches where it recieved a Top 20 Air-Cooled
award.
