4th Annual Show

The 4th annual show was a great success.   It seems that after the first 3 show we have worked out most of the kinks.   Everything seemed to go very smoothly.  We raised a lot of money for our Charity.  Pictures are being uploaded to the site along with the results.   Check them out at www.etvwclub.com/pineywoods06.

The 3rd Annual Piney Woods VW Fall Fest took place October 15th, 2005.  We had a great show.  Attendance was down some due to the high gas prices, but we were still able to raise a lot of money for charity.   Results from the show can be found on the show website:  http://etvwclub.com/pineywoods05 
 
The big reveal for the 62 ragtop project took place and left many watery eyes.   You can read some of what was in the news on the site.   Click on the banner below to go there.

We meet every second Tuesday at 6:30 in Longview.  Currently we will be meeting at the Wendy's on Gilmer Rd. across the street from Walmart.  Call if you need directions.
It isn't necessary to attend the meetings, but there will be a chance to win door prizes courtesy of Gorman-McCracken VW and a 50/50 drawing. I always try to bring my digital camera to the meetings in case anyone wants a picture of their ride on the website.

This isn't even for MY bug, it is my son's!
The first Piney Woods VW Fall Fest in 2003 hosted by the ETVW Club with the support of Gorman-McCracken was a big success.  It was cold and wet, but we had 75 VWs come out.  There were many happy winners at the end of the day.  However since it is impossible to give an award to everyone, remember to come back for our next show.  Maybe you will be a winner.

Visit the Piney Woods VW Fall Fest 2003 Photo Album.

The 2nd annual Piney Woods VW Fall Fest was held Oct. 16, 2004.  We had a great turn-out of more than 60 VWs.  The weather was perfect this year with a few people actually getting sunburned.  The club was able to raise $1,000 for our charity, Longview Preschool and Childcare Center.  If you would like more information about the show click here:
